Mac Operating system issues can arise from variety of computer errors, usually originating from corrupt, missing system files.

The more you use your Mac, the greater the chance that some of the key Mac system files have become corrupt and unstable especially if you often Install and Uninstall software.

Other contributing factors could be Malicious Software such as Malware and spyware.

If you notice your Mac running slow or Macbook not starting up properly, hangs or freezes or laptop crash. You may need to consider an operating system re-installation.

What is an operating system? Your operating system is what everything on your computer runs on. Without an operating system you wouldn't be able to do anything on your computer. Different Operating systems include MAC OS X Tiger, MAC OS X Leopard, MAC OS X Snow Leopard and MAC OS X Lion.
We will typically recommend an operating system re-installation after software corruption, hard drive replacement or when your computer is running slowly.
The Process:
We remove your hard drive and test it using special software
If at this stage we find a fault on your hard drive we will call you with a replacement cost
We then backup data if requested (£10 Extra)
We then erase your hard drive and reinstall the operating system using specialized equipment
We install some basic software and apply Mac System Updates
We then restore your data (if) previously backed up and securely erase the backup from our system
We call to inform you that the job is complete

Please be aware that reinstalling the operating system removes everything on your hard drive and programs and other software cannot be backed up. Only Documents, Photos, Music and other non-program files can be backed up.
